Yes, but you only need to vacate the room for about 2-4 hours. That is how long it takes for the solution to dry out completely. Once it does, you’re good to go.
Can I sleep on my bed the same night after the Bed Bug Treatment?
Yes. In fact, to ensure the efficacy of our Bed Bug Treatment, it is crucial that you do. Let us explain. The chemical treatment is not an instant death trap for the bed bugs; they lie hidden deep within. Only when you sleep on the bed do they come out of their colonies to feed and in doing so come in contact with the residual solution and die. If you choose to sleep elsewhere, the bed bugs can stay hidden and can survive for months without the need to feed themselves.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes, and no. Both during the treatment and till the time it dries off completely, it is advisable that no one enters the room, that includes pets and babies. Once it dries out it is safe to enter but we’d recommend only adults sleep (or use) the treated furniture for a few days. For reasons we’ve explained in the question above.
